Sidr Honey stands out as one of the world's finest and rarest honeys, renowned for its unique taste, health benefits, and limited harvesting.

Our honey originates from the biblical Lote Tree, also known as the 'Tree of Life' (Ziziphus spina christi), thriving in desert valleys. We carefully harvest it twice a year, during the scorching summer and the cooler winter, allowing us to savour its varying flavours and textures.

The Sidr tree's aromatic flowers beckon bees to a rich nectar feast, laden with nutritional and medicinal properties, including powerful non-peroxide antimicrobial attributes. Their Beekeeping is a traditional art, passed down through generations, free from chemicals or machinery.

The result? Pure, unheated, and raw honey, lovingly poured into containers, preserving its vital enzymatic constituents. This is our gift to you, our satisfied customers, a taste of rich heritage and nature's finest creation.

Our lovely customers speak for us!

"The Sidr honey is a very popular buy in our food hall."

FAQs

What is the expiry date for your honey?

Raw honey does not expire. By UK law, we must include a best-before date, but honey remains safe to consume indefinitely if stored properly.

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery in line with UK consumer law, provided items are unused and in their original condition. Please see our full Returns Policy page for details.

Does your skincare range contain added fragrance?

No. All fragrances in our skincare are naturally occurring from pure, naturally sourced ingredients — no artificial fragrance is added.

Does your skincare include Yemeni Sidr honey?

Yes, all our skincare products use Yemeni Sidr honey as a key ingredient.

Why is the Royal Collection more expensive?

The Royal Collection is sourced from rarer locations in Yemen. The harvest is more limited and difficult, which adds to its exclusivity and cost.

What’s the difference between Summer Harvest and Winter Edition honey?
  • Summer Honey: Lighter in texture, darker in colour, with a sweeter flavour. Available most of the year.
  • Winter Honey: Rare and limited, harvested once a year. It is thicker, amber-orange in colour, with a stronger, more complex taste (caramel/coffee-like). It also contains higher levels of royal jelly.
Is your honey genuine?

Yes. Our honey is lab-tested to confirm its authenticity and purity. We have also supplied to major UK retailers such as Harrods and Selfridges, who apply strict sourcing and testing standards.

What grade is your honey?

All of our honey is Grade A. This grading system is based on US standards, but we use it for clarity of quality.

Is your honey organic?

Yes, our honey is organic. However, the UK does not currently provide official organic certification for imported Yemeni honey.
